Love is All You Need

Hi there

It's February ... the month of LOVE!

This month our creative team will be showing you some fabulous projects all about LOVE!

First up is Louise with a striking page

For this months theme Louise has taken a more mainstream approach to her layout. She has used the Imaginarium Designs hashtag title, speech bubbles and hearts, to compliment the layout and provide that final touch of 'Love'!

Kelly-ann has created this lovely page

According Anna and Hans in Frozen...
'Love is an open door'
Martin Luther King, Jr. said that
'Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend'
and Alannah Myles in 1989 told us that
'Love is ... what you want it to be'
In our family .... this is pretty much what love looks like -
After half an hour of getting them to sit there beside each other I held up the camera to take a photo and when I said 'OK .... show me the love' THIS IS WHAT I GOT ...
My 11 year daughter ( third from the right) took one look at this layout and said 'Oh My Gosh mum .... why would you scrapbook that photo... my hair looks so lame!'
'Really?' I answered.... 'you look this photo and your hair is the thing that worries you?'
You gotta love kids :)
No chipboard was harmed in the making of this project...
these are the ones that were embellished though:
The title and the butterflies I hit with a good amount of blue embossing crystals then I drew over the top of with a white pen to create the shine lines.
The arrows and the hearts I embossed with black and sprinkled some light blue powder through as well.... except the outlined hearts .... those just got a going over with a black sharpie

And lastly Sandi has a stunning layout to share.

"Love is..."  Lots of love hearts, shapes and the letters to the word 'Love' were placed onto my layout and then then covered with black gesso. When dry I used my finger to rub Finnabair Metallique Emerald Green paint over the area. Highlights were added with gesso and bronze watercolours and additional texture and layers were added using several different colours of Michelle Grant Designs Rough Pebble rocks and some brass cogs, an arrow and dinosaur. The layout was completed with white wire thread, white and black script stamping and some paint splats.
