"The Great Ourdoors"
Made this layout for our recent trip to hubby's hometown in Sungai Lembing, Malaysia. It is a very small town in a valley. Used to be a tin mining town. A very interesting place. Here you see that we walked on this suspension bridge. I had height phobia and yup... I cried halfway while walking on it. The bridge is swaying from left to right... so scary!!!!
For this page, I stamped the background with green ink and spread mixture of grey paint and texture paste over a stencil. Wanted to create the look of suspension bridge poles over foliage.
For the title chipboards, I painted it black and rubbed some gold ink at bottom to represent mud!!
Painted the corner chipboard black and dab with white ink.
Painted the leaves chipboards with white gesso and green Twinkling H2O's watercolor.
"Your Time To Shine"
I love to see my boy run. This was his lower primary games day. He ran like a puppy with his tongue sticking out. Yet he ran so fast. And his team came in first place.
For the background, I mist it green, stamped randomly with texture stamps and added texture paste over a stencil.
Colored all the chipboards with gold Viva Decor Inka Gold. Added abit of shimmer to the "Shine" word and the tiny stars.
"Right Now"
For this 2 art journal pages, I spread mixture of grey paint and texture paste over stencil and used Tim Holtz Distress markers to do the background and draw the orange circles. Gosh... loved the distress markers. Added raw chipboards to complete the look. Stamped Christian verses directly over the pages.
Here's what I have used:
Hope you like my project sharing. Have fun.
Thanks for dropping by.
Love the awesome background on the first layout and the misting on the second is cool!! The journal page is my favorite though! LOVE the depth and texture! TFS!
