March Inspiration from Leonie

Hello and welcome to the Imaginarium Designs blog.
Leonie here today.

My first page is about a 'back to school' photo.  I had lots of geometric patterns and letters on  my background and wanted something to match this for a boy page.
I've used some of our soon to be released chipboard.

These interlocking squares were just super and perfect for this page.
They come in a range of sizes too,
which makes them extra versatile in that you can match them to suit your scrappy style.

Stars are always a good embellishment for boy pages so I used some on this page, painting them black and then coating them with glossy accents.
I find when I use a heat tool on glossy accents I get a kinda cool bubbled effect.

The title for the page I made up from our Imaginarium Designs range of script words and
simply painted them white and
placed them on my photo for maximum impact.

Here are some more closeups of the soon to be released squares.
I painted them with them added dabs of coordinating paint using paint dabbers.

Green, Green Green!
Who's a fan of Green?
Well me apparently, during a recent srcapping retreat it seemed every page
I created had lots of green on it!  I guess you go through phrases!
Do you have a favourite colour that you tend to used a lot in your creating?

This is one of the pages I created.

Really when It came to scrapping this photo of the Mojito drink with limes and mint leaves on it, I couldn't really not use similar colours to scrap it!

First up, on this lovely flourish I painted it with acrylic paint and them coated it with green stickles for a glittery effect.

I used the same technique on my title piece Happy Days.

Different shade of green on the subtitle and I used the stickles again,
but this time I painted a boarder
around the triangles and arranged them as a banner.

So that's my share for this month, Happy creating!
Don't forget to leave a comment to go in the draw for an Imaginarium Designs pack.
