Christmas Tree Adventure and Winter Wonderland

Hi Everyone, Karen here with a couple of project for December to share with you.  I wish you all a Blessed and Happy Christmas!

For my 1st project I used a photo of my niece's little guy Carter getting ready to go cut the family Christmas Tree and I just loved the colors in the photo, so I did a bit of a Mixed Media Christmas layout.  I used several of the large alphas to surround the photo.  I saw a tutorial by Limor where she used some alpha stickers around the photo and was inspired to give it a try and the little Christmas Trees for some embellishments.  To alter the chipboard I first gessoed them.  After they dried I used Ranger Ink's Perfect Pearls Embellishing Pigment Kit - Aged Patinas.

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard Used:

4 Christmas Trees (IDT 0009)

Capitol Letters (IDAUC0001A)

Other Materials Used:

7 Dots (9th Wave) Paper Collection
Ranger Ink's Perfect Pearls Pigment Kit - Aged Patina
Studio Gesso
Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)
Tim Holtz Die Cut (Holiday Wreath)
Tim Holtz Die Cut (Vintage Lace)
Tim Holtz Stencils (Burlap, and Alpha

For my second project I used a beautiful photo of my hairdresser and her family from a winter's photoshoot.  I used some beautiful Bo Bunny's Limited Edition Glitter Series Christmas papers that I had from last year.  To alter the Imaginarium Designs chipboard I gessoed them and them used some Tim Holtz Glitter Dust…sorry you can't see all the sparkle but the lighting is just not good today.

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard Used:

Merry Christmas (IDP0072)
Babbles (IDDS0002)
Two Reindeer In A Board (IDS0073)
Twigs Two On A Board (IDFL0013)

Other Materials Used:
Bo Bunny "Limited Edition-Glitter Series) Paperline
Tim Holtz Die Cuts (Snow Flurries, Baroque, Tattered Flowers)
Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Weathered Wood)

Thanks so much for letting me share my work with you and I wish you all Blessed and Happy Holidays!!
