GoodBye to Heather and Welcome to Jolaine and Maiko

Heather Jacob and I go back a long way .....  in fact Heather was the teacher for the very first scrapbooking class I ever did. She was teaching at my local scrapbooking store and I fell in love with a mini book she was teaching. She has been a teacher at my scrapbooking store for the past 5 years.

She is one amazing person and a privilege to know.

I love her work, she has an amazing eye for detail and I love the way she layers everything together.

All her work is beautiful, she is so clever and I love her layouts and mini books.
She lives quite close to me so I will still be able to catch up with her from time to time. She will be sadly missed from our team. I wish her all the best with her scrapbooking ventures this year. I hope she and her family have a wonderful 2013.

Now I would like to welcome Jolaine Frias.
Jolaine is from the USA.

Here is what she had to say about herself.
"My name is Jolaine Frias. I live in New York with my husband and two children. I started scrapbooking when my first daughter was born in 2005. Since then, paper crafting has become a major addiction, not just a hobby! I'm currently in design teams for Glitz Design, My Creative Scrapbook kit club and Once Upon A Sketch blog.
Thanks so much for opening the Design Team call to the public, WOW, what amazing opportunity! I fell in love with Imaginarium Designs when I first saw some pieces featured in the Graphic 45 blog but I was totally blown away when I received a generous pack of goodies as part of my OUAS DT sponsor package. I just love the intricate and beautiful designs and the quality of your products. Joining the Imaginarium Designs DT would definitely be a dream! "
Well Jolaine's dream is about to start.
Her work is just beautiful  and she does mixed media so well. I am sure you are going to love the projects she shares with us this year.
To see more of her work visit Jolaine's blog.

Now it's time to re-introduce Maiko Miwa from Japan.
Our two design team members from Japan are truly amazing. I don't know if it has anything to do with their nations history of working with paper, but they are both masters at it.

Maiko does the most beautiful work. It is always detailed and so pretty, whether it is her layouts or off the page projects. Each one is a masterpiece.

Her off the page projects are just lovely the project above is a perfect example of her style. Each little piece is so perfectly placed.

This is a very special project and it is one of her mini books. You can see from this the amount of detail she puts into each project.

Again another very special altered art piece, so beautiful and delicate. Maiko will have some more wonderful projects to share with us this year and I am sure you are going to love everyone of them.
To see more of Maiko work, visit her blog.

Well that's it for today, make sure you leave a comment to win some of our chipboard. I will be announcing all the winners at the end of the week.
