Meet Tara Orr

I was delighted to meet the super talented, and lovely Tara Orr at CHA. We caught up with each other at the Websters booth. I was able to give her some of the Imaginarium Designs Chipboard I had floating in my bag. I was so thrilled when she sent me an email with this stunning Layout.

I asked Tara to write about her page.
"A favourite pass time of mine is to head to the nearby pond and feed the ducks. My kids ADORE doing this. On this day, the boys were in school so I decided to take my daughter, bag of bread in hand, to go and visit our feathered friends. She had such a great time watching them eat"her" bread and fighting over the little pieces that actually ended up in the water. I tried to keep the overall feel to this layout very elegant and lush from the soft tones in the papers and flowers to the layers upon layers of embellishments. This beautiful chipboard flourish accented the project wonderfully. I love the fact that they come "bare and ready to transform. To coordinate with the colours in my layout, I applied some distress crackle paint to the chipboard pieces and then finished by inking the edges. The flourish was originally one large piece but was easily cut and used as two smaller pieces".

Such a great idea to cut the flourish into smaller pieces. Thanks so much Tara for sharing this beautiful layout with us. You can see more of her lovely work at her blog Tara Orr just click here.
I have some more lovely projects to share this week. One is from the lucky Lady who won a bag of our chipboard, so keep popping back to see what we have all been up to.
thanks for looking
Jane
